MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team wrapped up the first day of split weekend competition at the Marty Pushkin Invitational in Morgantown, West Virginia and the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Florida on Friday evening.

Sophomore Kishay Rowe finished third in the women’s 800 meters in Tampa, with a personal best time of 2:04.90. The time was good enough to place her No. 2 in the event on the all-time outdoor list.
In the 400-meter hurdles, sophomore Lily Haught also earned a personal best after posting a time of 1:01.47.
Redshirt sophomore Olivia Cress and sophomore Izayah Everett notched times of 25.05 and 25.55 in the 200 meters, respectively.
Next, West Virginia continues competition on Saturday at the Marty Pushkin and USF Alumni Invitationals in Morgantown, W. Va. and Tampa, Fla. The Marty Pushkin Invitational is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET, and the USF Alumni Invitational kicks off at 11 a.m.
