MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 18, 2025) – West Virginia University junior golfer Kaleb Wilson shot 1-under-par to finish in eighth place at The Johnnie-O at Sea Island at Sea Island Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Wilson shot 70-69=139 for his fourth Top 10 finish of the season. Due to high winds on Monday, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes. Max Green recorded rounds of 72-69=141 (+1) to finish tied for 13th place.
Todd Duncan shot 76-72=148 (+8), Ryan Leach posted rounds of 78-71=149 (+9) and Carson Kammann was +13 with rounds of 77-76=153. Westy McCabe competed as an individual and shot 74-72=146 (+6) to tie for 50th place.

“Another impressive performance by Kaleb Wilson, he’s been playing steady golf, taking care of his preparation all year long and it’s showing,” coach Sean Covich said. “Max has been playing good golf this entire spring, nice to have him back.”
West Virginia recorded rounds of 295-281=576 (+16) to finish in 11th place.
The Mountaineers will return to action on Friday at the three-day Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia.
