West Virginia’s Day Two Performance
West Virginia senior Todd Duncan had an outstanding performance Wednesday as he finished day two of the tournament recording a score of 3- under-par 67 (tied for the second-lowest score by a West Virginia golfer). Duncan produced five birdies for the day to jump 33 spots and work his way into the top 20 on the individual leaderboard with one round still remaining. Duncan finishes the day tied for 18th place at +8 after rounds of 74-77-67. The lowest round in Big 12 competition by a West Virginia golfer was by Matthew Sharpstene in 2019 as he posted a score of 66. Sharpstene also shot a 67 in 2018, Max Green would also shoot a 67 in 2023.
Kaleb Wilson would finish the day recording a score of +3 in round three and is currently tied for 46th place at +13.

Max Green shot a +6 in round three and is currently tied for 51st place at +14.
Wesley McCabe shot +4 today and is +17 in the tournament
Carson Kammann shot a score of +11 and is now +31 in the tournament after three rounds.
A Look At The Competition
Cincinnati: The Bearcats finished off the 18 rounds of day two in ninth place, finishing with a team score of 877. Senior William McDonald led the way for Cincinnati as a recorded a 73 (+3) in the third round. McDonald finished the day remaining in the top 20 overall.
Freshman Leo Wessel matched McDonald’s score of 73 (+3), Wessel had recorded nine birdies throughout three rounds and finished the day tied at 18th place overall.

Oklahoma State: Four Cowboys would each record a scorecard of par-or-better during day two of the tournament. Oklahoma State’s Eric Lee rattled off a bogey-free 66 (second best round of event so far). Lee would lead the Cowboys on Wednesday and move one stroke of the individual leaders (OSU holds six-stroke lead over second place Arizona State).
Individual Scores
Three golfers are tied for the lead after three rounds at 1-under par. Arizona State’s day one leader Connor Williams still maintains a share of the lead.

Houston’s Wolfgang Glawe finished the day with a tie as he recorded five third-round birdies and shot for -2.
Three golfers are one stroke off at even par, and two are two strokes off the pace at +1.
Mountaineers Look Ahead To Thursday
The Mountaineers moved up one spot in the team standings to 13th place after shooting +10 on Wednesday. West Virginia trails No. 28 BYU by five shots and are ahead of Baylor, Iowa State and UCF.
The third and final round will begin on Thursday morning at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. View all individual scores here
